Q. How long will my first jump take?

A. Plan on the whole day, from 8:00 a.m. to dark for AFF jumps. Plan on a half day for tandem jumps.

Q. Can I bring my Pet ?

A. Please leave Dogs, Cats and small Children at Home.

Q. What should I wear?

A. Comfortable, well fit tennis shoes and casual, loose fitting clothing. Jeans are okay. Sweats or shorts, according to season. We furnish you with a jumpsuit.

Q. Is there an age limit?

A. Yes, you must be 18 year old. (No exceptions)

Q. Are there weight limits?

A. Yes, 230 lbs. for AFF jumps and 230 lbs. for tandem jumps.

Q. What if it rains?

A. AFF students will complete the classroom portion of their training, regardless of the weather. Tandems are simply rescheduled for another date.

Q. I received my training and did not get to jump due to weather. When can I jump?

A. Anytime during our normal business hours or by appointment.

Q: Do I have to do a Tandem Jump for my first jump?

A: You can certainly do an AFF Jump for your first sky dive, but you have to attend the required Thursday evening training. More info on AFF »

Q. When is SKYDIVE SUFFOLK open?

A. Weekends 8:00 AM to dark, Friday 3:00 PM to dark during Daylight Savings Time (we are closed on Friday during Standard Time from 1st Sunday in Nov to 2nd Sunday in March) All other days by appointment.
You can schedule a tandem jump any day of the week for 2 or more. Call first for details!

Q. Can I get licensed?

A. Yes, Skydive Suffolk will train you from your first jump through your expert license.

Q. Do I need a reservation?

A. Yes, call anytime to make a reservation at 757-539-3531. It is good to schedule your jump at least 1 week ahead of time to guarantee date and time selected. Groups of 10 or more should schedule at least 2 weeks ahead.

A. Use our convenient and secure online form to schedule and pay for your skydive
