Ever heard someone say, “Pics or it didn’t happen!”?
Basically, we live in a world where we want to see it to believe it, especially when it is something awesome…say, for instance, proof you went skydiving!
Well, here at Skydive Suffolk we give you two ways you can show everyone YOU jumped out of a plane! Let’s break down your two video/photo options: Handcam or Outside Video.
So, which one to choose?
Handcam is where your Tandem Instructor wears a GoPro on their wrist and captures video and photos from that angle throughout the entire process, from a pre-jump ground interview, the plane ride and mid-way interview, the exit from the plane, the freefall, the parachute release, the time spent under canopy (floating through the air), landing, and post-interview! That’s a LOT of content!
Outside Video is where another person, your ‘videographer’, jumps alongside you and your Tandem Instructor. They capture head-on perspective. You receive all the same content as a handcam video, but you do not receive footage under canopy, since the videographer is also skydiving and must pull their parachute and land safely to capture your landing!
We edit your video and provide you with a professional keepsake you can show off for the rest of your life – you also receive approximately 100 photos (please keep in mind your video and photos will reflect your personal experience…everyone’s is a bit different and our team does the best job they possibly can to capture everything! Amount of photos will vary somewhat from person to person.) You receive an email with a link to download your file and keep/share wherever you want! We do have a USB option for an additional $5 fee.
What if you are jumping with friends or family and you all want video? We frequently are asked if every person jumping needs to purchase video, and the answer is ‘yes’. The videographer (whether it be Handcam or Outside Video) can only focus on one person to capture, especially during the time spent actually flying through the air. We can certainly capture video and photo of your group on the ground pre-jump, just let us know!
