Blog Post: Employee of the Week! Stacy Holland

February 13, 2018

Stacy Holland is a man on the move – both in the air and on the ground.

The Houston, Texas native is one of our full-time instructors and can always be counted on to share his passion for skydiving with our community.

He’s also an FAA certified senior rigger and oversees all of the equipment at Skydive Suffolk.

And back on the ground? Stacy lives with his wife, Kristin, in a 42-foot travel trailer!

The couple has traveled the US and worked at various skydiving facilities, including Moab, Utah and a site outside of Austin, Texas.

Now, the travel trailer is parked near Skydive Suffolk, and the two of them love being in Hampton Roads.

“I’ve jumped at a lot of drop zones, including two of the busiest in America at Skydive Phoenix, where I worked for a time, and at Skydive Arizona,” he said. “Skydive Suffolk does the best job with its equipment and maintenance. The team here keeps everything top notch.”

Stacy did his first jump in April 2010 at Skydive Spaceland Houston thanks to a birthday present from his wife.

He did a second jump later that fall and from there he was hooked.

Now he loves to take others up into the skies for the thrill of a lifetime.

Come on out and go on an adventure with Stacy!
